Jendro’s Recycling Do’s & Don’ts

Separating materials correctly is essential to ensuring effective recycling. Contaminated recyclables can slow down the process and sometimes even send waste to the landfill.

Please follow these general recycling guidelines on what can and cannot be recycled in your curbside bin:

  • Aluminum cans
  • Cardboard (30" x 60" x 6") (no pizza boxes)
  • Clear glass (no colored)
  • Junk mail
  • Magazines
  • Newspapers
  • Phone books
  • Plastics #1-#5, #7. #6 (styrofoam) is not accepted.
  • Tin cans
  • No medical/prescription bottles, oil, or bleach containers
  • No plastic bags or sacks

By following these guidelines, you help us keep recycling efficient and effective, reduce contamination, and ensure that all materials are processed correctly!
